Yed Technology Delivered eGenerators to IETT

The “eGenerator” produced by YED Technology started its duty as a part of the rescue vehicle during the test drives and commissioning of the new electric metrobus project of IETT and Metro Istanbul. Replacing the traditional 35 kVA diesel-fueled generator, the eGenerator is an energy bank using a 40 kWh capacity LFP type battery cell.

With its features that can operate at a total of 40 kW DC power and provide an output voltage of up to 1000 V DC, it is a candidate product to be an alternative solution at every point where diesel generators are used, in addition to electric vehicle field missions of this type, with the addition of AC output feature. The eGenerator has a volume up to 50% smaller than generators of the same power, along with its zero carbon emission operation. It keeps the energy consumption cost up to 8 times lower. It does not require frequent service and maintenance like diesel generators.
