BoostVolt™: What is a battery “boosted” fast charging station?

YED Teknoloji uses Li-ion chemistry-based battery systems to store electrical energy when it is not used or when it is limited. Thanks to the energy stored in its battery system, which is charged from a low-power grid connection (e.g. 20kW), BoostVolt™ charging system can operate at higher DC charging power (e.g. >100kW) DC without loading the grid .By "boosting" the grid power, BoostVolt™ enables the installation of fast DC charging stations even in places where the grid infrastructure is very limited.
